Extra Large Capacity - Artisan Paper - Flexible Format
An extra large handmade photo album with 280gsm artisan paper, its pages are the equivalent of a square A4, accommodating up to 4 standard pictures. The support paper is soft to the touch and has the charm of paper made on the original Foudrinier machine, which dates from the Industrial Revolution. It sports subtle fiber inclusions that add to its rustic appeal. It is strong enough to allow creative scrapbooking techniques without curling. The cover and inside paper are Lokta, straight from Nepal, handmade by the Fairtrade women community there, the binding is the classic medieval raised cord where the pages are sewed on cords hence the ridges. Traditionally covered in leather it is here covered in thick lokta, the headband is hand-sewn. The album is made here, in Leitrim, so if you are looking for a different size or cover we have the flexibility to accommodate customisation.
