A large watercolour art journal sporting 180 pages of handmade cotton rag paper complete with the deckled edge of the sun-drying racks. The paper is soft to the touch and flexible yet resilient to wet painting techniques. The spine is exposed, allowing the book to lay-flat as you can fold it to create a stable surface, the binding is the ancient coptic binding that replaced the rolls of ancient times.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ A fantastically well made and BIG book with lots of pages. Since I live in the area I also got the book super quick (like the day after). It's a different book though as the paper is very cottony or what to say.. I have so far only painted one page and found that the paper is really good for layering and the colours look really beautiful on it. The paper is thirsty in my opinion and also has a bit of texture I would say. . I'm no expert in paper so I hope I'm right in saying that. The quality also seems superb and the binding perfect 👌😊

Beautiful journals
