COVER MATERIAL: Handcrafted from sustainably harvested Daphne bark, Lokta paper carries a thousand year legacy in its soft, textured surface—brought to life through traditional batik, woodblock prints, and sun dried sheets that honour Nepal’s mountain artisans. Each piece celebrates natural variation in colour, weight, and pattern, offering a beautifully durable, eco conscious canvas that supports rural communities and preserves a timeless craft.
WRITING PAPER: A curated selection of mixed writing papers for true paper lovers, bringing together natural fibres in varied weights, tones, and textures, each offering a distinct tactile experience. Smooth or lightly toothy, warm or softly pale, every page invites the hand to slow down and keeps journaling engaging rather than routine. Carefully chosen for quality and longevity, these all-natural papers respond differently to ink and pressure, awakening the senses and imagination with every turn of the page.

Style: COPTIC BINDING
Fact: Coptic binding is an ancient 2nd-century AD technique from early Christian Egypt, considered one of the earliest true codex forms. It features an exposed spine with decorative chain-stitch sewing, uses no glue, and relies entirely on thread for strength. This allows the book to open completely flat, even back on itself, making it ideal for sketchbooks and artist journals. The spine is traditionally left exposed, but can be covered, the sewing hidden or exposed; the rhythmic sewing pattern provides both structure and beauty.
