Corkskin is a practical, quietly beautiful material made from the renewable bark of cork oak trees. It offers the look and durability of leather without animal products—lightweight, water-resistant, and easy to care for, with a naturally unique grain. Sourced mainly from Portugal, corkskin is also a material with impact: its growing demand has helped revive rural economies and sustain traditional cork-harvesting communities. - ARTISANAL PAPER: Made on an original 19th-century papermaking machine from a now-closed mill, this paper brings character and quiet history to each album. Style: SADDLE and DAISY BINDING (PAMPHLET)

Fact: Pamphlet binding is an ancient, durable technique dating to the 4th century, formed by sewing a single folded section directly through the spine to a leather cover. Using simple 3–6 hole sewing patterns—chosen according to thickness—it creates a strong, flexible book that opens completely flat, ideal for journals, music, or zines. While classically straight-sewn (Saddle), the structure can be enhanced with daisy stitching or multiple signatures joined to a cover for added strength and character.
